Cask Ale Week

Cask Ale Week is the Week Beginning 29th March to 4th April, where we will be running various events and tasters to promote cask ale.
This year we will be doing a taster tray where you can sample a 1/3 of a pint of three different beers for the price of a pint.
There is also going to be a short Introduction to Cask Ale Seminar held in the pub with cellarman Alan Mearns, ask at the bar for details and to book your place as spaces are limited.
For a nostalgic taste of brewing from the past we will be serving Theakston’s Old Peculier from a Wooden Cask with a distinctive change in flavour from that in ‘normal’ metal casks.
